-inspect for obvious findings

Abdomen x 5.
-Palpate kidneys bimanual
-Ensure labia majora are bigger than minora
Inspect for placement and patency
Barlow, the ortolani
How do you perform the Barlow maneuver?
Adduct hip 5-10 degrees and push posteriorly
How do you perform the Ortolani exam?
Abduct hip while lifting leg anteriorly
Hand and foot deformities
Spine x 3
-Inspect for sacral tuft or dimple
