A

Avalanche on mt. Everest, resulting in 18 deaths
multiple landslides cut 400k people off from aid
tourism lost (10% of economy earnings)
avalanches, landslides etc. raised death toll to 9k
irrigation systems damaged

A

225k shelters provided by red cross
UN and WHO set up medical supplies and field hospitals
9 Nepalese helicopters rescued people from landmarks such as Everest
telephone calls made free as well as Facebook check ups

A

274m dollars pledged by EU, UN, Japanese banks etc.
money spent on repairing buildings, 7000 schools, and other infrastructure
by August 2015 trails and routes on Everest were rebuilt
Durbar square heritage sites build to encourage tourism
