Processes of neutrophil extravasation

A
  1. Cytokines released from site of injury.
  2. Increased expression of adhesion molecules in endothelial cells.
  3. Neutrophils touch and begin rolling along the surface.
  4. After conformational change they stop and attach to the surface.
  5. Diapedesis. Release cystic enzymes to digest connective tissue
  6. Climb chemotactic concentration gradient towards microbes.
  7. Neutrophils form pus.
