Because of a fuel vehicle having a panic when cleared to cross 08 when a helicopter was given take-off rwy 08 from the 26 thres so was fine but vehicle driver didn’t get what was happening

Solent open- expect RV from the STARs from Solent and then Bournemouth

Solent closed- Expect RV from Bournemouth Radar, direct routing may be accepted under a TS or DS. Crews also ask for expected routings to be given when clearance requested (for deps).

Procedural Service- A/c to fly a procedural approach, no direct routings to be accepted

A BT line and Solent direct line are wired in white contingency phones above the RAD 2 position. A silence switch will require activating in the event of VCCS total failure.

Use the ICOM standby radios and inform duty ATE, use this radio is to be used to make the situation safe as these radios only have a battery life of 1 hour. The ringer silence switch will need to be deselected in the event of total VCCS failure.W
