Icing Conditions - Carb - Takeoff
There is a minimum of 120 deg F heat rise available at 30 def F OAT when using 75% METO power or more. It is not recommended that heat be used unless the engine starts to get rough or there is a drop in MP.
Fuel configuration for takeoff and landing
Takeoff and and with main tanks selected, boost pumps on and cross feed valve in the off position.
Aux fuel can be used when?
In level flight only.
Cross Feeding Fuel During Single Eng Ops
To Cross feed:
1. Select Main Tanks and cross-feed on
2. Turn Operative Engine main tank to off to prevent fuel xfer between tanks
3. Operative engine boost pump should be off and selected main tank boost pump should be on
Vacuum System Operation
Automatic valve closes if either pump fails; remaining pump will operate gyro instruments
Vs1 - Stall Speed power off, gear and flaps up @ 10,200

0 - 88 mph
20 - 90 mph
