Noun
People, places, things, and ideas.
Common nouns
Something general not specific, its not capitalized. (examples: kid park, chair, love).
Proper nouns
Capitalized something specific (examples: Statue of Liberty, Harry potter, Doritos, Dr pepper, Florida).
Abstract nouns.
You cannot see, hear, smell, taste, or touch abstract nouns. (examples: love, hunger, fear).
Concrete nouns
You can see, and touch it. (examples: food, dog, desk, water bottle).
General nouns
A noun that describes something general (examples: chips, actors, volleyball).
Specific nouns
A noun that describes something specific (examples: Cheetos, Volley-lite ball, Jenna Ortega).
Compound nouns
Made up of more than one word. (examples: grocery store, shopping cart, teacher desk).
