What is eclampsia?

A

It is seizures in a woman diagnosed with pre-eclampsia, with no other hx that would explain seizures

  1. Uncontolled severe HTN > 12 hours, despire use of three antihy-ertensive agents
    Oxygen sat < 90 %, need for 50% oxygen for> 1 hr, intubation (other than cesarean section),pulm edema
  2. Positive inotrooic support
    MI or infarc
