Vomiting becomes intractable in early pregnancy causing dehydration, electrolyte imbalance, ketonuria and weight loss >5% of pre-pegnancy weight

What is trichomonas vaginalis and what is the clinical presentation

A

Second most common cause of vaginal discharge after candidiasis

  • Vaginal discharge - thin, yellow/green, offensive, may be frothy
    -vulvovaginal irritation
  • dyspareunia
  • dysuria but no increased frequency or urgency
  • strawberry cervix appearance
