What do ebay do?

A

Parties try to resolve the issue themselves via online negotiation. If this doesn’t work, parties enter a discussion area and a staff member will decide who wins

What do resolver do?

A

Contains 2000 company emails so when the customer fills out a complaint form it gets sent directly to the email. A log of responses are kept

What do financial ombudsmen do?

A

They resolve issues quickly with little formality. Adjudicators write to both parties suggesting the outcome they think is fair and if the parties agree then it’s resolved. If not, the ombudsman is given the case for the binding decision
