What is Cardiovascular Disease?
Cardiovascular disease refers to narrowed or blocked blood vessels which could lead to a heart attack.
What are the symptoms of Cardiovascular Disease?
Blocked blood vessels, thickened heart walls, artery walls thicken due to cholesterol clogging up the walls.
How do you causes Cardiovascular Disease?
Lifestyle factors: Smoking, Alcohol, A diet high in salt, A diet high in saturated fats and lack of exercise.
Health factors: Genetic inheritance, Obesity, High blood pressure, Diabetes, High blood cholesterol.
How do you treat Cardiovascular Disease?
Changing Lifestyle, More exercise, Healthier food.
What is Degeneration of the nervous tissue?
Degeneration of nervous tissue is the loss of neurons in the brain causing the brain to lose capacity to send and receive nerve impulses.
What can degeneration of nervous tissue cause?
Degeneration of nervous tissue can cause an increase in the time taken to react, decline in short-term memory, decline in being able to speak and difficulty in processing and receiving information.
Define the degeneration of the sense organs.
when the senses that allow you to receive information from the environment begin to become less sharp and gradually fail.
What are the symptoms of degeneration of sense organs?
Decrease in in being able to taste different things, decreasing enjoyment over food, affected fluids in the ears can cause dizziness and falling over, skin becomes more sensitive to sunlight and to bruising and vision can become less sharp.
What is Osteoarthritis?
When your bones get thinner and rougher around your joints, making it harder to move them.
