Blocks histamine and acetylcholine receptors in vom center
Blocks pathway between inner ear and vom center

Diphenhydramine MOA
Competes with and blocks H1 histamine receptors
CNS depression
Diphenhydramine indications
Allergic rxns involving respiratory difficulties, edema or itching

25-50 mg IV/IM/IO
1 mg/kg IV/IM/IO max 25 mg
Epinephrine MOA
A and B receptor stim (up HR, av conduction, heart contraction and vasoconstriction)
Relaxes bronchial smooth muscles
Epinephrine indications
Anaphylaxis, severe asthma
Cardiac arrest, symptomatic bradycardia, croup

None :)
Epinephrine dosage
Asthma/Anaphylaxis- 0.3 mg IM/SQ or 0.1 mg IV low concentration
Cardiac arrest- 1 mg IV q 5 min low concentration
Bradycardia- 2-10 mcg/min infusion

Acts on hypothalamus heat regulation
