OPC Cumulative Flashcards
(9 cards)
What is the CS point for Pectoralis Minor?
Flexion with Adduction and inferomedial traction
What is the CS point for biceps long head?
Flexion + wrist supination with shoulder flection
Internal rotation and abduction/adduction as needed
What is the CS point for short head biceps?
Elbow flexion with wrist supination
Add shoulder flexion (90 deg) + mild adduction and internal rotation
What is the CS point for Subscapularis?
Shoulder extension (30-80) with internal rotation and slight adduction/abduction as needed
What is the location of Subscapularis CS point?
Anterolateral surface of scapula-push anterolateral to posteromedial
What is CS point for Supraspinatus?
Pt supine. Shoulder flexion (45-90) with abduction (45) and marked external rotation
What is the CS point for infraspinatus?
Pt supine, shoulder flexion (90-120) with abduction and variable internal or external rotation
What is the location of CS point for Infraspinatus?
- Lateral: lateral end of muscle about 2 cm below spine of scapula
- Medial: 2-3 cm lateral to medial scapular border and 7-8 cm inferior to spine of scapula
What is CS point for Levator Scapulae?
- Pt prone
- Slight shoulder extension with marked internal rotation while applying traction on ipsilateral arm to rotate scapula superomedially.
- Sidebend the neck towards the point
