Q

What did Thorndike do?

A

Used kittens and a puzzle box - kittens were kept hungry so they would want to escape - could only escape if they pushed a lever - when the cat pressed the lever it would escape and get food as a reward - after a few times of doing this, the cat would eventually press the lever straight away, learning the behaviour
