Medial - lateral pterygoid, plate of sphenoid
Anterior - posterior surface of maxilla
Posterior - carotid sheath
Floor - medial pterygoid muscle
Rood - greater wing of sphenoid bone
Located below middle cranial fossa, medial and deep to zygomatic arch
