Both increasing.
Why is land so important for them?
Provides food, water, medicines.
Some land is considered sacred.
They take care for the land and the land takes care of them.
Spiritual gatherings are held there.

Briefly describe the Orang Asli belief system.
They are animists and believe that there are spirits inside of non-living objects such as trees but they also believe in shamanism.
Briefly describe the Australian Indigenous belief system.
They believe in the land and have a deep connection to it. They also believe that there may be spirits inside of objects like rocks etc. They believe in stories too called ‘dream time stories’ which showed them ways to live their life’s.
What are 3 ongoing challenges that both of these cultures face today?
- Racism and Discrimination
