how do you order a CII?
DEA Form 222
the purchaser makes a copy, sends the original to the supplier
can only order a single item on each line (20 lines per form)– note on the form the # of lines copleted
enter the name and address of the supplier you’re ordering from
who can sign a DEA Form 222?
the registrant or POA

using CSOS– each pharmacy appoints a CSOS coordinator who must be issued a digital signing certificate which is valid for 3 years
what should Bob do if he ordered oxycodone via CSOS and the supplier notifies him that it can’t be filled/accepted?
electronically link the statement of nonacceptance to the original order– keep this statement for 2 years– then issue a new order
how are CIII-V ordered?
order through normal ordering processes from a manufacturer/wholesaler— the SUPPLIER provides an INVOICE
