Controls body movement and responds to sensory stimuli
Endocrine
Has glands and cell structures that secrete hormones, which helps with development, growth, metabolism, homeostasis, digestion, and reproduction
Cardiovascular
Has heart and blood vessels. Distributes hormones, nutrients, and gases
Lymphatic
Transports and filters lymph and helps with immune response when needed
Respiratory
Exchange of gases (oxygen and carbon dioxide) between blood and air in the lungs
Urinary
Filters and removes waste products from blood, forms it into urine, and removes it from the body
Digestive
Mechanically and chemically digests food materials, absorbs nutrients, and gets rid of wastes
Male Reproduction
Produces sperm and male hormones like testosterone. Transfers sperm to female
Female Reproduction
Produces female sex cells and female hormones, receives sperm. Site of growth and development of embryo and fetus, produces breast milk
