Define resonance

A

Resonance is the phenomenon that occurs when the driving frequency of the driver is the same as the natural frequency of the driven system resulting in maximum transfer of energy from driver to driven system. Driven system will thus have maximum amplitude of oscillation.

SMH is defined as the periodic motion of an object about the equilibrium position in which its acceleration is proportional to the displacement of the object and it always acts in the opposite direction to its displacement. (also known as the restoring force)
