A
Cotto - unfermented grape juice
Sifone - grape alcohol

What are the aging requirements for Marsala?
A
- Marsala Superiore
- may be dry or sweet with minimum aging of two years - Marsala Superiore Riserva
- aged for min four year in oak - Marsala Vergine / Solera
- May be dry or very dry and aged for minimum of 5 years.
**NO sweetening is permitted - Stravecchio or Riserva
- aged for min of 10 years in wood

- Inzolia - gives body and nutty aroma
- Grillo - adds spiciness, nuttiness and saltiness
- Cattaratto - high acidity to give freshness to the wine but easily oxidize, contributes in the amber colour,

A
A sweet brown wine for Malaga, Spain.
Main grape used is Pedro Ximenez. May be made using solera system.
