How long des it take to train professionally as a SwáSthya Yôga Instructor?
Twelve Years
How soon can an aspiring instructor start to teach and earn money?
From the first year, providing he or she has been approved by the Federation.

when he or she graduates with the Master’s degree

From the moment his or her students are presented for examination to become instructors.
Is the annual revalidation mandatory for an instructor? What happens if the revalidation is not obtained? (Answer must be word perfect)
Yes, its is mandatory. If it is not obtained, the unfinished certificate is annulled, the right to teach is suspended, the União Nacional de Yôga (National Union of Yôga) credentials are cancelled and consequently, he or she loses the rights to all discounts and privileges of a graduated instructor.
What is the supervision?
The supervision is a network of support and guidance that constitutes a solid protection, both for the supervised instructor and student. It implies a relationship of ethical commitment, affection and acknowledgement.
Is it mandatory for an instructor of SwáSthya Yôga to have a supervisor? Is it obligatory to pay a Supervisor?
A supervisor is essential to an instructor. The supervised instructor is not forced to pay the supervisor. If he or she chooses to keep up monthly supervision payments, at least over twelve consecutive months, he will benefit from bigger discounts, have priority in booking courses and even, gain the right to freely attend regular sessions offered by the supervisor and will have priority to consult or meet with the Supervisor. Also, teh Federations request an instructor to have Supervisor in order to gain the right to revalidate his or her certificate.
Is it Mandatory to jointhe União Nacional de Yôga?
No, but eyebrows will be raised….given its advantages.
What are the advantages of joining the UNY?
Cultural exchanges, making friends, discounts on educational material, courses, events, consultancy, marketing resources, up-to-date info etc
What is the difference between supervision and affiliation?
Supervision is voluntary (but indispensable if you wish to teach). It is a contract between two parties (supervisor and supervised), whereby the latter pays a monthly fee to the former, equal to the monthly payment of of on f the students of the Supervised. This fee makes the supervised automatically eligible for discounts on courses. Affiliation is optional and is an association between two judicial entities (UNY and the affiliated entity). This is not paid and grants discounts for purchasing products and events…
