Commercial printers may use untrimmed sizes - A-RA or supplementary raw format A-SRA, both a bit larger than A, allows for colour bleeding of printing. Then trimmed after printed.
Paper Thickness measured on gsm (grams per square metre). Lower GSM = lightweight, easier to cut and score
