A

Little more than potential space. Overlapped anterior edges of both lungs and contains thymus

A

Bilobed organ, more prominent in children.. Appears like pink fatty tissue with denser lobules.

Where does thymus develop from?

A

Endoderm - probably 4th branchial clefts.
Ectoderm - same clefts
Some connective tissue is likely from mesoderm
