If the patient has taken medication that is new on the market - report to black triangle

How do we handle dispensing errors?

1) let the patient know - never lie!
2) Make things right
3)Offer them an apology
4)Let your colleagues know
5)Reports errors to NRLS - or similar depending on the pharmacies system

• if it is a controlled drug - inform the CDA
