Christian Aid
- Aim to bring aid to end poverty
- Work with refugees

- Try to prevent conflicts
- Missionary= not only aid others but preach their religion

- UK’s leading learning disability charity working with people to with a learning disability and their families. Try to get equal rights for all.
Nuclear: Against
- Nuclear based increase the risk of an attack
- An accident could happen at nuke base
- contaminate environment for hundreds of years
- Wars have still been fought since the bomb
- South Africa has given up theirs niclear weapons. Others should do the same.
- the 76 billion spent on nuclear weapons could be better spent elsewhere
Nuclear: For
- people have jobs making the bombs
- by having bombs, never have to rely on other countries to defend them
- nuclear weapons now exist. There’s no way of turning back the time so we should keep them.
Just War Theory - Iraq War
A - YES UN had tried several non violent attempts to find a resolution. They also had the support of other countries
F - YES No nuclear weapons. Although innocent Iraqi civilians could have been killed, generally avoided
R - YES if it had begun because of the genocide caused by Saddam, NO if it had begun to gain control of Iraq’s oil reserves and as no weapons were found
R - YES other non violent methods tried but Iraq did not want to comply
O - YES as terrorists should be dealt with, NO as the outcome was not worth the lives lost

Negative effects of war
