Q

INDUSTRY

What were the benefits of having the BBC involved?

A

It is a public service broadcaster funded by liscence fees - not advertisements.

This means that they can afford to take risks with their content as they are not forced to target mass audiences.

Filming a historical draa in a reigonal area of Yorkshire might be considered as quite risky.
