Define the greater pelvis
superior region related to upper part of pelvic noes and lower lumbar vertebrae - part of the abdomen
Define lesser pelvis
related to the inferior parts of the pelvic bones, sacrum and coccyx. has an inlet and outlet.

PSIS - at level L3/4

Perineal

What is the action of ext.abdo.oblique?
Compress the abdominal cavity

Flexes/rotates trunk and raises abdominal pressure

Costal cartilages of ribs 7-12, lumbar fascia and inguinal ligament.

Diaphragm, linea alba and pubic crest

Flexion, extension and lateral flexion of trunk

pubic crest and symphysis - insert into linea alba
