Rectilinear motion is motion in a straight line

Rotational motion is motion that spins on axis ( on a fixed point )

periodic motion is motion which repeats itself after regular intervals of time

It depends on the unit of distance and unit of time used

It measures the distance traveled by a car

What is the formula for speed ?

Salam takes 15 min from her house to reach her school on a bicycle. If the cycle has a speed of 2 m/s, calculate the distance between her house and the school
Solution :-
In this problem the speed is given in m/s and the time is given in minutes . So before putting the formula for speed we will have to convert time from minutes into seconds.
A car moves with a speed of 40km/h for 15 min and then was a speed of 60 km
for the next 15 min What is the total distance covered by the car ?
Solution :-
In the first case the speed of the car is 40 km/h and in the second case the speed of car is 60km/h but the time is the same in booth cases. now science the speed is in km per hour we should first convert the time into hours by dividing the time by 60
The odometer of a car reads 57321.0 when the clock shows 8.30 AM . What is the distance moved by the car if at 8.50 AM , the odometer readings has changed to 57336.0 km ?
