  • Any plant with a ‘Daisy flower’
  • These are not single flowers but dense heads containing many tiny flowers (Botanically they are an infloresence called a ‘capitulum’
  • There are two types of these tiny flowers (disc foret in centre & ray florets)
    *usually female or pistilate
    *Genera includes Argyranthemum and Cosmos
  • annuals, biennials, soft wooded and hard wooded perennials
