What is photosynthesis?

A

Leaves of most plants can produce nutrients under sunlight. This process is called photosynthesis.The leaves absorb energy from sunlight, carbon dioxide from the air and water from the soil. Leaves also contain chlorophyll (a green pigment). Nutrients for plant growth and oxygen are released.
