A
You can only pull a car over if you are wearing your tie. You must be uniform.
Train newly appointed officers in traffic.
Identify of driver - establish
Enquire whether they have been drinking

Do you have to be in uniform to pull over cars in a section 4 road check?
A
Yes - think uniform do the stop and detectives do the talking.
PCSO’s can also pull cars over.
