Selecting only favorable data and ignoring the rest.

Overwhelming an opponent with a flood of weak arguments.

Using a charismatic leader to shield from criticism or evidence.

Suggesting two unequal things are morally the same.

Rejects a realistic solution because it isn’t perfect, comparing it unfairly to an idealized, flawless alternative (which usually doesn’t exist).
