Flexibility, adaptability and creativity
this trait is most noticeable in our willingness to take risks and work in our countries. This also related to our bahala na mindset; Kickstarteror pampa-lakas ng loob.

Filipinos also value faith and religiosity.

The palakasan system; is another element that has led to the prevalence of graft and corruption in the country.

Extreme family-centeredness,
ningas-cogon, projects start out with full enthusiasm and interest but sooner has it started that the enthusiasm and interest dies down.

Filipinos have a very high respect for authority. For instance there is a strong reliance on leaders and the government to solve the nation’s problem, but ordinarily, Filipinos do not feel the need to initiate or contribute to the solution.
Filipinos love anything foreign. Foreign elements are adapted and incorporated into our image, and in process, we are also losing our cultural diversity.
Colonial mentality
s related to the Filipino traits of extreme personalism and extreme family centerdness; Personal and in-group interests are supreme, and the drive to fulfil these interests is completely insensitive to the common good.
Kanya-kanya syndrome
Lack of self-analysis and self-reflection
the expression that Filipinos are “madaling makalimot” or have a short memory; We easily forget the mistakes we have made; hence, we make the same mistakes again.
