A

When food supply decreases eg. Famine, population declines

When food supply increases the birth rate increases and death rate decreases

A

War causes disruption to farming, water, health etc
soldiers and civilians die, increasing death rate
families are separated, lowering birth rates

A

Contraceptives reduce birth rate, people need information to access this information
The more educated a women is the more likely it is the she will work outside the home and wanting less children

Developing country

  • high birth rate= broad base
  • young structure
  • high death rate= narrow peak

Developed country

  • Low birth rate = narrow base
  • most population is in the middle upper part
  • low death rate= broader peak
