A

Label term, must state the Vintage and have 0,5%abv more than its DOP.
For reds matured min. 2 years in wood plus 1 year in bottle.
For whites/rosado matured min. 6 months in wood plus 6 months in bottle.

How are the vines trained in Vinho Verde DOP?

A

-‘Enforcado’ method. High from the ground on trellises or on trees. The grape doesn’t benefit from the reflected heat from the ground, so they’re a bit underripe at harvest, hence the ‘green’/’verde’.
