A
- Nothing hot, sticky, or crunchy for at least 45 minutes to an hour - water is ok.

- Don’t eat until you can feel your face.

A
- Nothing, hot, hard, sticky, or crunchy for the rest of the day - water is ok.
- Don’t eat until you can feel your face.
- Thread the floss, don’t pop it upwards. This will pop the temporary crown off.
- Make sure to contact us if the crown breaks or comes off.

Post-Op Instructions for RCT (Endo)
A
- Nothing, hot, hard, sticky, or crunchy for the rest of the day - water is ok.
- Don’t eat until you can feel your face.
- Over the counter pain medication as needed.
- Get back in to see your dentist to get a crown as soon as possible as the temporary filling will shrink and come out.

Post-Op Instructions for OS (Surgical + Simple)
A
- Do not rinse or spit for 24 hours after surgery.
- Keep your fingers and tongue away from the socket or surgical area.
- Use ice packs on the surgical area (side of face) for the first 48 hours; apply ice 20 minutes on and 10 minutes off. (Note: Bag of frozen peas work well).
- For mild discomfort, take Tylenol or Ibuprofen every 3-4 hours.
- Do not smoke or use straws: avoid any negative pressure as this will disturb the blood clot.
- Avoid strenuous activity and do not exercise for at least 3-4 days after surgery.
- Your diet should consist of mainly soft and cool, easily swallowed foods and cool drinks. Avoid anything that might get stuck in your teeth, so no seeds, nuts, rice, popcorn, or similar foods.
