What is Distributive shock?
servere reaction/ inflammation, release of inflammatory mediators- preipheral vasodilation, decrease BP
How does distributive shock affect the body?
unable to control where BV distributed, directly away from organs- unable to constrist Bvs
What is the MM colour?
abnormally red- heamorraghe
Distributive causes-
Anaphlactic- allergic reaction of antigen (insect stings)
Septic/ Endotoxoic- bacteria/ toxins in circulation (protozoal infection)
systemic inflammation response syndrome (SIRS)- sepsis, neoplasia
Distributive treatment-
rapid identification/ treatment
surgical intervention
IVFT
Distributive clinical signs-
tachycardia
poor pulse quality
red MM
CRT inital rapid, slow progressing
reduced BP
warm extremities blood pooling
