A

126-134 degrees F. Dip wrap: fingers apart dip 6x wrap in paperboy after for 15 min. Dip-immersion Let Pt hand sit in parafin at 126 F for 20 min. Heating unit is turned off during treatment.

Hot pack treatment. How do you do it and what is the storage temperature?

A

Stored at 158-167 F cover hot pack in 6-8 layers of dry towels. Hot pack cover count as 2-3 layers. Check Pt after 5 min for burning. Use for 15-20 min total
