Before prayer, what should you check?
The worshipper must be Musim
Worshipper’s clothes and body must be free from all impurities
The place where the prayer is to be offered should be clean
Part of body between navel and knees of male worshipper must be fully covered and whole body except hands and face of female worshipper must be covered
Worshipper must face Holy Ka’abah
Worshipper must form the Nittat, Fard or Sunnah or Nafl he or she is about to offer
Worshipper must observe times and rules prescribed for the respective prayers
Worshipper must have performed the Wuzu or Ghusl
What do congregational prayers ensure?
Congregational prayers ensure that every believer interacts with other members of society
What should a Muslim do after hearing Azaan?
After hearing Azaan, one must walk to Masjid for congregational prayer
What is Sunnah before going to Masjid?
It is Sunnah to take bath and desirable to go to Masjid before time, brush teeth with Miswaak, put on white or any clean clothes, wear oil and perfume and to sit in first row near Imam
When is Eid ul Adha observed?
10th of Dhul-Hajj
When is Eid ul Fitr observed?
1st Shawwal after month of Ramadan
What is forbidden in the Masjid?
Forbidden to enter Masjid with foul smell of garlic, tobacco, or with dirty breath or clothes
Forbidden to jump over heads and shoulders of congregation or to pass in front of someone who is engaged in prayer
One must not raise his voice except for
remembrance
One should try to cover sound of sneeze
Forbidden to stretch out legs towards Qiblah
Forbidden to run or put heavy steps or drop something
Infants should not be taken in Masjid
Sleeping, buying, selling is forbidden in Masjid
