A

When the tests actually measure what it sets out to measure

When testing a performer, it is important to ensure that the test is valid and set up in such a way as to produce reliable results. To assess the validity of a fitness test, the following questions are important: -
● Is the research method relevant and does it do exactly what it sets out to do?

Reliability

A

The test can be repeated accurately

means that a test produces results that are consistent and can be repeated with the same outcome. To ensure a test is reliable, the following considerations need to be taken into account: -
● Tester should be experienced
● Equipment should be standardised
● Sequencing of tests is important
● Repetition of tests should be possible to avoid human error
