    2) Press RESET.
    3) Return handset to cradle.

If an announcement is already in progress that has a higher priority, the caller receives a normal busy signal. There is a flight deck indication when the PA system is in use in the customer cabin.

  • Press 5 to reach flight attendant station.
  1. Speak into the mouthpiece.

    2) Return handset to cradle.

If the station is already in use, the caller receives a busy signal. If the caller dials a non-existent

code, or is dropped from a call already in progress, the caller receives a rapid busy signal.

The communication system is reset when all handsets are properly returned to their cradles or by pushing RESET on any handset used during an interphone call or PA announcement.

B737-700 (73S)and B737-800 (73U) aircraft are equipped with a pilot crew rest seat.

The seat has a standard recline of 4” and an enhanced recline of 16” to meet the 40  recline

requirement of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).

When scheduled for a pilot crew rest, the seats directly behind are vacant to allow for the 16” recline.

When a pilot crew rest is not scheduled, the seat may be occupied by customers.
