Why do athletes have individual needs ?
Every athlete is at a different level. Athletes have different requirements.
What is a specificity?
Specificity is matching the right training to the the sport. E.g. a traing plan for a goalkeeper is different to a mid fielder.
What is progressive overload ?
Progressive overload is when you progressively increase your overload to improve fitness. E.g. weight lifters increase their weight.
What is the FITT principle ?
The FITT principle is when you plan an exercise programme to get the most out of it as safely as possible.

What is overtraining ?
Overtraining is when you train beyond your bodys ability to recover.
What is reversibility ?
Reversibility is when you gradually lose fitness instead of getting stronger.
