PRO-NOR-SRP-01-30 TAKEOFF Flashcards
(4 cards)
08- When THR is Set for T/O when ‘RWY’ Mode does appear?
PRO-NOR-SRP-01-30 P1
- RWY Mode Appears if an ILS is Tuned to a Station
corresponding to the Departure Runway
- Otherwise No Lateral Mode Comes Up Until the A/C
has Lifted Off.
09- What will be the consequences of a T/O without FD Bars (IE: Following a Last Min Failure or MEL)?
PRO-NOR-SRP-01-30 P11
If T/O is Initiated Without FDs, the System Response will be:
- No FD bars
- The A/THR will NOT Arm Automatically
- No Guidance Available
- Target Speed = Selected Speed on the FCU
Or by Default = 100 Kt
- Setting the THR LVR to the CLB will Not Activate A/THR
WARNING: DO NOT Engage the Autothrust Before
Manually Selecting a Target Speed on the FCU.
10- What is the procedure for a T/O with No FD Bars?
PRO-NOR-SRP-01-30 P12
Establish initial climb of 15°
When reaching the Thrust Reduction Altitude:
SELECT a climb speed
SET the thrust levers to CLB
ACTIVATE the Autothrust
TURN ON the FDs (Basic Modes Engages)
SELECT Appropriate Mode.
11- Failure of Both FDs AFTER the Start of TakeOff?
PRO-NOR-SRP-01-30 P12
- The FD Bars Disappear
- The FCU Window displays the Target Speed,
Which is V2 or the Current Speed (If It Is Higher)
- The Autothrust remains Armed
- At Thrust Reduction Altitude, LVR CLB flashes
* If the Pilot Set the Thrust Levers to CLB,
the Autothrust becomes Active in Selected SPD Mode
(no FDs Selected)
* If the Current Speed is Greater than the Target Speed,
the Thrust Decreases
- At Acceleration Altitude the Target Speed does
Not Change, since it is Selected.
