What does HIV target
A
CD4 Receptors on helper T-cells -> kills them -> impairs immune response (AIDS)

What causes autoimmune diseases
A
The immune system attacks body tissues, e.g. Type 1 diabetes, rheumatoid arthritis

How can tissue rejections be reduced
A
Use HLA-matched organs and immunosuppressants (e.g. cyclosporine)

A
Antibodies clump red cells -> block capillaries -> possible death
