what is supplementary prescribing
a voluntary partnership between an independent prescriber and a supplementary prescriber ( qualified healthcare professional who can prescribe them) to implement a clinical management plan with patient’s agreement

prescribing by a practitioner who is responsible for patient assessment and diagnosis
