The process of planning, organising and utilising resources to achieve specific goals within defined constraints. It provides structure and guidance to a project, ensuring it is completed in time and within budgets and contributes to the overall success. Improves the efficiency of resource allocation and communication through members and stakeholders.
What are the main principles of project management?
Having achievable and defined timescales, management of supply chains, people management through defined roles and responsibilities, access to resources, budgeting and effective planning
What are the stages of project management?
Initiation of the project, define purpose of project, project scoping, produce implementation plan, manage resources and risks, and monitor/report progress.
What is the importance of quality management?
To satisfy customer expectations and ensure repeat sales and returning customers, enhancing reputational standards, increasing profits and reducing losses.
