What are main types of psoriasis?

A

Chronic plaque: extensors.

Guttate: in kids after strep throat, chest.

Flexural: occurs in folds, symmetrical.

Palmar/plantar

A

Pitting nails
Subungual hyperkeratosis

What is treatment of psoriasis?

A

First line: topical emollients, steroids

If inflammatory/2nd line: diseases modifying, immune suppressing e.g. methotrexate, adalimumab.

Also phototherapy, crude coal tar.
