The Islamic world extends over Asia and Africa.
What is a tribe? What were the advantages of the tribal system?
A tribe is a group of people related by blood and common
interests.
Tribes provide people with a social framework based on security, comfort and a decent lifestyle.
Name and describe the three ancient ruling systems of the Arabian Peninsula.
- Monarchial - rule by a king or a queen
- Tribal system - normally led by a Sheikh from a leading family.
