In rates, there’s enzyme and subtrate concentration vs rate graphs. What are the orders of the:
Substrate rate graphs
Enzyme rate graphs?
Why?
A
Subtrate is initially first order with respect to the reaction. It is then zero order as substrates are in excess to the enzymes, and all the active sites become occupied/enzymes become saturated so no more complexes can form.
