Rate Of Reaction Flashcards

(12 cards)

1
Q

Explain the difference in rate of reaction.

A

If you were to use sugar cube it would take longer to dissolve in the tea because the particle have to work around the sugar cube to get to the middle. Whereas a spoonful of sugar would dissolve much quicker because the particle can access it much easier.

Q

Why will the sugar dissolve quicker than the sugar cube?

A

Because the particles can access all of the sugar but it has to work its way to the middle of the cube until it dissolves.
