differences between cbt and rebt
Cbt our thinking is distorted and leads to negative emotions. REBT our emotional disturbances are caused by irrational beliefs. Cbt changes the perception or interpretation of an experience. Rebt changes the underlying belief system that led to the interpretation in the first place.
First three events of rebt

7 common problem areas
- Feeling limited due to not being good at something, perceived low level of ability or intelligence
- Difficulty making a decision
- Unable to get started or take action
- Fear or resistance

- Negative self-talk and/or limiting thinking and beliefs
- Stress, overwhelm, anxiety, obsessive thinking, or feeling out of control
